Netflix reported Q1 EPS of $0.06 - yes, better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.96 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.97 billion. It's slightly down than estimates but still a lot - more than 40% growth from the last year. Domestic net streaming adds were 2.23 million. Netflix guided 1.75 million and the Street was looking for 1.82 million. International net adds were 4.51 million. Netflix guided for international net sub additions of 4.35 million and Wall Street was looking for around 4.5 million. The company sees Q2 domestic and international net sub adds at 0.50 million and 2.00 million, respectively. Netflix sees Q2 EPS of $0.02, versus the consensus of $0.05. Netflix said it is also planning to raise additional capital later in 2016 and into 2017. The capital raise will come through the high-yield market. Netflix sees spending over $1 billion on content in 2016 and over $6 billion on cash basis. To be honest, I am not sure that they have a positive trend. Need to check their filing as soon as it will be available.
